Our standards for sourcing market data, news, research, and regulatory information.
Primary sources first
We prefer original documents and direct sources: regulator releases, legislation, court documents, company announcements, exchange notices, SEC filings, official blockchain documentation, central-bank communications, and government economic data.
Secondary reporting
When secondary reporting is useful or necessary, we attribute it clearly and avoid presenting another publication's reporting as independently verified fact. We seek corroboration for material claims.
Market and on-chain data
Market data may come from public data providers and can be delayed, revised, or unavailable. On-chain movements show transfers, not intent. A transfer does not by itself prove buying, selling, custody, or a future price direction.
Source links
Articles should include direct source links where practical. Links are provided for transparency and reader verification; external sites have their own content, policies, and availability.
